better than the v3 to me, but the problem with these "fashion" phones is their price drops too quickly

really nice phone but I've never been a real fan of Motorola's. Something about them just makes me not a fan.

Really, I mean you still can't get a V3 for under 300 right now. I think they hold their "value" relatively well. But then again it is like all other technology.

I like the V8, only thing is that the keys might be kind of small area, especially compared to the V3.

The TV advert for these phone is truly impressive. the one where the enviroment around the lady folds up untill it becomes the phone.

btw how is the software of Moto's. Is it quick and smooth or slow and crappy like Sony Ericsson older models.

Yeah, the Sony Ericssons were terrible. I like the GUI and the features, but it was just so damn slowed. I used to use the T68i and the T616, the T616 was considerably quicker than the old T68i, but nevertheless it was still slow.

The fastest I have used is definitely the Nokias. Those were snappy.

The Motorola isn't bad, but it isn't super fast as well. I am definitely getting used to the Motorola's GUI now. I used to be a big Nokia fan.
