I was lucky last weekend to meet a toyota sportivo driver on my local twisty course with along with six other WRX drivers and a insecure 200sx driver
, and we when on a cruise together, since I was going to go there anyway.
Great people, had great fun, it was good to meet fellow enthusiasts so easily and the type of driving I do too!
What I found most impressive though is this Corolla Sportivo, to me it looked awesome and I don't partculary like "tuner" car look. I thought it was a civic type R at first and not a corolla!
However this vehicle was awesome, on the twisties it keeped up with WRX's and it was stable at speed and around corners too. 110KW, front bracing, tuned susupention and front cold air intake. The owner tuning philosophy was overall balence, hence his main mods focus was suspention. "Tuners" to me are nearly always rice but when done correctly you can get great results from a seemingly "average" car
