yeah GTR loks sweet, esp for someone that doesn't have a PS2 (me). Everything looks really detailed and the driving physics are pretty sweet, but I think the textures and reflections and highlights look pretty crappy

no I know what I meant. Textures and bump mapping actually... the way it is at the moment does a really bad job of covering up the fact that everything is polygons, and they look very flat and obviously repeated (the environmental ones). I think the game still looks great, that's just something I noticed and bothered me.

Well when I played this games press release demo at my friends house the graphics were out of the question. I think it was probably one of the best PC racing graphics game probably the best? But in the end a true gamer or and enthusist well know that it will be the gameplay of the game that really matters and not the graphics so much. And from the demo I played it was pretty damn fun I say! I loved the Morgan and then I finially found out how I can drive that Lister! But damn was driving that Morgan so much fun!

Looks more technical than GT4, but from the screenshots, they look very 2D. U know what I mean?...the graphics looks solid...yet they look fakish.
