I love hot hatch comparisons. Too bad Top Gear doesn't do more...

Thx for this article, I'll read it after my examns! I'm starting to love the new golf. I didn't like it at first, but the Gti version improved it's image in my eyes!

leon's engine,
bmw's chassis,
leon's price,
bmw interior design
civic type r interior space
and pls ... no traction control that cannot be turned off

btw, Opel hasnt brought out its twin turbo CDTi engine? still under development? i love that engine, as well as 535D's engine

Once the 1 series gets a decent engine the golf won't know which way it went!

They are also rumours about the e46 M3 engine going in one to create an M1? (may need a new name!). Now thats what im talking about!

Correction... 30 years later the Golf returns to be the king!!!
The last 2 generations were crap.
