LA Auto Show Coverage(New Pics 1/15/05)
I went to the Los Angeles Auto Show today. Been wanting to go from sometime but the weather delayed the trip. Here are some of the Pics I took with my digital camera, I have some more on film that I might post later.
Ferrari F430:
Anniversary Maserati:
Ferrari Superamerica:
Spyker C8 Spyder:
Aston Martin DB9:

New 2006 Dodge Charger, Say What you want , I love this thing. If Dodge had not released the magnum this car would have gotten more good reviews.
Dodge Viper Competition Coupe:
Ford Mustang Convertible:
Shelby GR-1:
New Saturn Sky Concept:
Chevy Corvette ZO6:
Chrysler ME 4-12 Concept, This car is nuts, I could almost touch it, they better make this one.

A Ferrari 360 Spider in The DUB magazine section:
Rolls-Royce Phantom with $250,000 Cubic Zarconian Wheels:
Another Ferrari F430:
Maserati Quattroporte:
Enjoy the Pics!!

Nicely done! Appreciate you posting all the photos for us. I'm liking all the debut and new cars, esp the new Charger. BTW how did the ME Four-Twelve look in person? I've heard they killed the project but I was always a fan and thought the looks might be even more appealing in the flesh (or metal).
As for the Saturn Sky concept, if they produce it good for them. It just better live up to it's great looks and perform.

thanks for the pics, it must have been pretty damn cool to see all of those cars in person. i really like that new shelby GR-1 i have heard that it is likely that they will produce it as a sucessor to the ford GT. also yea i do fear that the ME 4/12 concept has been scrapped for the time being. there was a post here on JW in car chat about it i believe.

Nice pics, even for camera phone.
I think one of the reasons the Charger wasn't as well received was cuz it has 4 doors and is more saloon like and "practical" than b4. that pissed off a lot of die hard fans.

yeah my camera does suck, it is an old Olympus D-200, and yes the Chrysler ME 4-12 concept is probably one of the most amazing cars to see in person ever, and I have seen some good ones (haven't seen an MC12 yet but....), the guy at the show said that they have two running test models that are being fine tuned and that they might anounce production at the Detroit show this week. And about the Charger, I am a pretty hard-core Mopar fan...wait, you say..and you like the new Charger, Yes I do. I am unlinke most of the other die hard fans who are in their late 40's and who hate new cars because of "all those damned computers and nonsense". I appreciate the new direction dodge is trying to go with the new Charger, I would have loved a two-door thoough don't get me wrong, but the car looks great in person and I can't wait for other insane versions like the SRT and other crazy stuff. Besides the Charger back in the old days did not look like anything amazing, frankly most of them were ugly boats, they just had a meaness about them and a whole lot of grunt. A HEMI V8 with 340hp, hate all you want but you'll apreciate it when you hear that thing rumbling past you.
P.S. The 1999 concept was ugly as hell by todays standards

The ME 4 12 and the Shelby are the best. I saw the ep from Rides where they showed how it was designed. Great ep, great car. Only bad thing is the front bumper's intake. WTF are those lines in there! They should have left the opening alone instead of filling it up with those lines.

Yea I saw the Rides about the making of the Concept Coupe (later called GR-1) and it was pretty sweet. Wonder if this one has an engine this time?
Speaking of Rides, the ME Four-Twelve was driven in the Dubs episode (gay name I know) and it looked frikkin awesome. I really hope Chrysler builds that beast, even if it doesn't make financial sense

I noticed thats not the ME412 that was actually driven on the DUBS episode on MTV it was black with racing rims and the fire and battery cut off on the hood near the window.

it may have been the test mule vs the show car. the fire safety thing and the battery cutoff on the hood was pretty cool

Shoot, i just realized this:
Quote from above:
Rolls-Royce Phantom with $250,000 Cubic Zarconian Wheels
Is that for real? no typo on the price of those wheels? Almost as expensive as the car itself.... and most houses for that matter.
