Who is the new Stig really?
with this weeks episode I must say it is an F1 or indy drive that was ok but let go and still wants to pe in the media eye, and always doning TV shows
Eddie Irvine is my best guess.
nobody just gets into and f1 car and drives it full out.
and I have seen thoses gloves b4 just can't put my thumb on it.

I also felt the same, but i dont think its Eddie. He's rarely in the UK anyway.. Damon Hill and Johnny Herbert are my two guesses.

I don't think it will be a famous driver. It would be quite impossible for them to hide the fact they are the STig. They wouldn't get unnoticed to the TopGear studio. They would be spotted too soon.
It will be someone not well known, like Perry McCarthy was before he let the world know he was the old black Stig. He also had some F1 pedigree. I think the Stig will be someone who has driven an F1 or F3000 once, but isn't really famous.

Sorry but the with the shows directly competing against each other on different channels the chances it's Tiff are are slimmer than an anorexic girl whos just gone on a diet ..... My best guess is its still Perry McCarthy..... anyway he's ex F1... of sorts ..... also a guy called Julian Bailey drove a couple of times when it was supposed to be Perry so maybe him too Anyway doesn't really matter to me a bit of mystery is good in life

If i had to put my money on it, i would say its still perry too...but you never know. I doubt it is eddie irvine, cause he doesnt seem to be a person would like to "hide" his identity, and he definitely doesnt need the money.

ok thats rely freaky that you also thought it was eddie ervine!
because thats who i thought, but he would be to cocky imo to go on a TV show, and race around a track.
i must say amazing lap in that F1 car, and exelent clutch contol at the start when he launched it!
