Bentley Arnage Limousine
Bentley has announced they will make the Arnage Limousine, presented in March 2004 at the Genvea Autoshow. Only 20 of them will be built, all developed by Mulliner, Bentley’s special division for exclusive options and modifications to their cars.
The costumer will have a team of experts and salesmen at his disposal to help him choosing materials, colour schemes and options. The costumer can equip the car with whatever he likes, within the bounds of legality of course. DVD entertainment systems, TV’s, a bar, a fridge, a PC with internet connection, a fax, a full glass roof, everything is possible.
The Arnage Limousine is based on the Arnage R. The wheelbase is extended so the car is 450 mm (18 inches) longer. To not upset the shape of the car this 450 mm extra length has been put into lager front doors (50 mm), lager rear doors (200 mm) and a lager D-pillar (200 mm). Other features of the new limousine include an unusually small rear windscreen to enhance the feeling of privacy inside and electric footrests that slide back and up to provide perfect support for your calves when relaxing. New illuminated vanity mirrors have also been designed into the D-pillar, providing passengers with the perfect way to check their appearance before leaving the privacy of the car. Twin individual front headlamps give the Arnage a much stronger visual identity within the Bentley family, namely the Continental GT.
The Arnage Limousine is powered by Bentley's famous 6.75-litre turbocharged V8 with 400 bhp and an enormous torque of 835 Nm. This power should get the heavy limousine to 100 km/h (62.5 mph) in 6.7 seconds. Depending on the demands of the costumer, it will take about 6.000 man hours to build this car. All this handmade luxury will cost at least £ 270.000 or € 394.000 (excl. taxes). Production will start February 2005.

I think the term "limousine" implies a stretched version of the original car... not a 40ft Hummer H2-a-like.
It is the same for Mercedes.... it is an S600L(..imousine)
I like it, but the Phantom still beats it for pure prescence.
To buy the Arnage in the first place, you will already have performance as a priority IMO.... for sheer luxury nothing can beet a R-R... so that's an R-R Phantom and an Arnage T for me please

Gotta love Mulliner. Also, in general, I really like the redesigned headlights on the Arnage... they look like four giant, flawless diamonds embedded in the front grill.

Kinda looks like an overprice KIA ...
|
You're just jealous 'cause you can't afford such class and those businessmen in the East can.
As for the KIA...we all know which company copied which.

I like it in all, but....it needs more power, 400hp will only get me so far, but since they said I can do what every I want with it, then i want 800hp, first you get the power, then you get.....then you get more stuf.
That Kia looks like a Jag if you see it with the hood orderment.

They look alright on a dark car, but on a Silver arnage they look shit.... i saw the new one the other week and i have to say, i miss the chrome surround. It kinda looks like a pumped up Conti-GT... and i think that looks like a pumped up piece of shit.... not very "Bentley" IMO

What's the point of 800 hp? Hitting the first tree going sideways? It's a limousine. It's supposed to be comfortable and smooth. 400 hp is already a lot of damn power.

I'm not sure what you meant by that. As in,"it will be a garage queen"?

800HP in a car that weighs 2 1/2 tones will make it move like a normal car.
The only rain that car will see is on its way back to the garage.

You're either joking, or really fucking stupid. The last time I checked, a normal car didn't have 320 bhp/tonne.
