best Camry ever is my 2001 Version 8) . This looks like a Acura TL and a VW and Acura RL all in one. All in all it is an ugly car!

the headlights and front end could maybe use a little work but i think the overall shape is attractive.
does anyone see a G35 sedan from the front fender back??

Not only is it ugly, it's also identity-less.

I agree, it's the best looking one yet. Obviously it'll have a V6 in the top model...but I wonder what it's output will be. It will have to be at least 250 hp to be a somewhat competetive car in it's price and model class.

"why can't they bring back the fun and cheap RWD cars like the AE86"
they will
look at the trends (at least in the us)
the death of cheap rwd cars was due to the lack of interest in the poerformance, everyone wanted suvs, or safe (fwd) cars
now you have the new GTO, the 300C, Evos, WRX/STis, 350z, turbo miata, rx-8, s2000, etc etc
the performance market is coming back
toyota is coming back, and they will be smart they have to examine the market
they never make a real bad move, the withdrew the celica and the mr2, which will be replaced later
i have a friend who has a friend (so this may not be totally reliable) who says that toyota is R&D'in a s2000 killer
and then the rumors of a new supra, which will have to be priced along side evos and stis, and 350zs
toyota will make some more great rwds....we just have to wait

its research and development, like most racing
hybrid cars are gonna keep coming, and developing, and gaining popularity
so why not test what they can do to develop better, more reliable, and better performance
its obvious
when audi entered the quattro AWD in rally...people doubted, laughed, and now its the standard
there are 1000s of examples
i think its cool they done that with a prius

this new camry or the new toyota mark isn't that good in look, but maybe toyota will add some new technology to it like a hybrid V6 engine maybe? and about the prius rally car, IMO toyota want to show the world that they could make a race car that fast and fuel efficient...

Toyota Mark was never a camry. it has already existed in japan's domestic market since 1968. alot of cars in japan dont share to the outer world. Toyota Mark is one of the best selling toyota's in the domestic market.
there are so many toyota's that dont get out of japan.
if it does make it out, its probably gonna be rebadged as a lexus
