Default Question About tire regs for next year.

Next year's new rules will at least make the first few races intresting to watch to see how teams and drivers adjust. Teams are limited to one set of tires for the whole race. JPM said "We’ve got to learn to control the pace, and that’s going to be interesting, Whoever will do the best job at controlling the tires will have the best pace. The problem is that we’re going to have to find a compromise between lap time and tire wear, because you have to define how much above the best lap time you want to be."

Just one question though. with only one set of tires for the entire race what if a driver has a puncture? Remember Spa this year? Or likewise what if they flatspot one of their tires? (like when they lock up for too long)

or they can make the tires a lil harder still so that they dont have to control the pace and just push as much as they want

when they change a tire (in the case of a puncture) I would think that they would stop them in the pits for a set time, we will just have to wait for the full listing of the new rules.
