Default Alfa Romeo Spyshot

Hi,

today we saw this Alfa Romeo in our neighbourhood.
It's possibly the new Alfa Romeo 157.

Greetings Yeckmohr

Yes, it should be the new 157.

I've already seen pictures of this car in mags 8)

It's very similar to the "old" 156

The front looks really aggresive. the new sharp lines really bring it out.

pretty cool, but a cheap trick to make it look aggresive...

Some people say it will be called the 158, don't know why they would skip the 157 name.

The car will have some Brera-like looks and will be offered with FWD or 4WD. Petrol engines will range from a 1.8 JTS to a 3.2 V6 (some rumours even say a Maserati based 4.2 V8 ). Diesel engines will range from a 1.9 m-jet JTD to 3.2 V6 m-jet JTD. The 157 or 158 is sheduled for end 2005 or the very beginning of 2006.

the front end does look very unique and aggressive, but that rear end.... exact opposite. looks dull and sedan-like in these spy shots. thanks for the pics...

I hope those rumors are correct...AWD V8 4.2  Or even RWD would be better.

Yea I like the more aggressive front end, looks really sporty. Looks like they took some of it's cues from the Brera concept, which I still wish they had produced.

The back end though, ugh, so bulbous and bland. Looks like a completely different car

i think 157 will be better inside, outside will be like 156 facelifted,
look of 156 is good, and people love it,
ou and of course new technology and engines , hope 157 GTa will be not FWD
