Its not that much of a sleeper since the outside still looks just like a svt contour, and you should know to be very careful around them.

yeah but the SVT contour wasn't that fast, you are thinking of the SVT Taurus. That is fast! But it is still a sleeper. I would what the cost was to build that?

There was no SVT Taurus. The Hi-po version of the Ford Taurus was the SHO (super high output) model. Originally it was powered by a Yamaha-designed V6 putting out 226bhp and 220lb-ft I believe. With the 1996 restyle to the round, bulbous body, the car gained a Yamaha-designed 3.4L V8 with 235bhp. The V6 was actually a quicker car, but the SVT Contour was very nearly as fast and without a doubt a better handler.

ti looks like a mondeo because here in america that model is called contour.
Highly modded....mmm... maybe not, it was desiged that way by the svt corps from ford. Only the inside was changed by the owner.
has a really nice sound, that v6 engine (that was basically the same as the normal mystique/contour/mondeo) pushed really hard, but the car weighed too much for 200 hp. Also too expensive being a ford.

as thamar... nice sleeper, no big thing with that car.

The car in those pictures isn't even an SVT, it's just a bog-standard SE V6 from 1994-97MY

I'd still take an SVT Focus over this car. It may have less power but it's still quicker.
