Default A1GP series

I was at Kyalami, South Africa on 6 November when they had a run with South Africa's A1gp entry.

And I have to admit that it looks good and sounds good. I think the series will be amazing to watch and can't wait until it begins next year.

The car looks fairly similar to an F1 car, although I can see the some people may say it looks like a student's idea of what a racecar should look like!

The SA car's colouring is quite striking and although I am no patriot in the least, I like the car enough to root for it!

I could visually see its speed advantage over the modified V8 cars from an earlier race. Maybe not as quick as F1, but not slow at all!
Remember this car is a V8 as well. In fact the future rules for F1 will reduce their engines towards the A1GP engines anyway.
I think the A1 car is already closer in concept to what the powers want F1 to be.

So all in all I hope this series takes off properly and provide much-needed motorsport over the November-March season!
