Default Rally du Valais 2004 (link to 78 pics, 56 friendly)

Nothing exeptional, but nice action and some of the pics turned out pretty well despite the lack of light at the beginning

At least I got a nice emplacement (where some professional photographers were and kindly allowed me to add my little ass to the crew )

Just click the pics to be taken to my website where all the 1600x1200 pics are

This one was scary! Mad oversteer, for sure not planned and I wasn't too far away

And finally, a near accident.. lost the car and stopped right here some centimeters from a concrete pole

I'm happy to see our chief JW photographer wasn't flattened by any of these cars as you say one of them does look a bit close LOL Excellent pics I'm sure if i tried to take action shots like this they'd all be blurry!! ....this one is now my background

Oh....what some nice pics....specially the Mitsu Evo VII and the Subaru Imprezza....dont regret TT too much about yourself in this topic since the pics are awesome, and the rallying pics will be always welcome for me......regardless the quality of the pics of them

Nope, for sure nobody dared too much.. it was a very bad surface that prevented it I fear.. right before the corner, dry and clean tarmac.. in the middle some gravel threw on the tarmac and wet too, and right at the exit, just wet tarmac... quite narrow too, with that little pole and the end of the stage beeing just 500 meters or something ahead, nobody wanted to mess up I guess

Nice shots. Why didn't you try a longer exposure with panning one to get the shallow dept of field and the "speed" effect?

I was there with no tripod and the risk with shutter slower than 1/100 to 1/200 as it was would have been tricky IMO since there is more risk to have also a "vertical" movement of the camera while following the car but I am not sure to get what you mean LOL (just my english, don't worry)
