Default Shelby Cobras track racing

I think it's the most beautiful car, but thats my opinion. Classic cars with 7.0 liter engines, i'm drewling. The sound is great.

lol "factory five", of course it's replica .

but they make pretty good replica of the cobra though unlike many other cheap company out there.

they also made the daytona coupe replica and they're coming out with their own kit car soon.

My uncle gave me a ride in his replica 427, and i'm hooked for life. It's the best american roadster, and i don't even like fords.

I'm a Ford guy and I will be the first to tell you that Cobra's were NOT Fords they were Shelby's using Ford Engines. That's like the Noble using a Ford Engine it is an independent project unlike the Shelby Mustangs.

Hey T-bird,
Just a friendly correction. Shelby went to Ford for funding after being turned down by GM. He procured the cars without engines from AC motorcars. He took an existing car from England, and put a 260c.i. engine supplied by Ford in it. They were then sold at Ford Dealerships.

yeah he got some engines from Ford and cars from Engalnd but it was a Shelby Not a Ford the car is labelled a Shelby and sold at Shelby authorized dealers I don't consider it a Ford and obviously he was getting money from Ford since he raced for them, and helped develop the winning GT40. Now he makes his own engines in house. now the Mustang had a VIN number and everything from Ford along with the Shelby nameplates.
