Display problem

I was just typing some stuff up and then my computer when nutts...its a lot worse at times than the picture shows but the letters at the top of the window get really scrambled after i minimize a window...does anyone know what the problem might be...i tried rebooting obviously..i tried dusting the inside of the case out..i tried changing the resolution...i have no idea please help

well after everything you did I would suggest maybe updating your drivers. and run anti-virus/spyware.

yeah I ran anti-virus/spyware already....I just re-installed all of the drivers for the graphics card...my computer just crashed last week...there was a bad section on the hard drive so ive had to move everything over onto this one which has been a pain in the ass...and everything was working fine..but it could have had something to do with all that i dunnoo..but it appears to be running normal now..thanks!
