Default Villeneuve will beat Schuey by the end of season

I reckon it is excellent to see Villeneuve back in a competitive drive and given that he has his full race distance under his belt he will be right on the money next race. With a good qualifying possie and the way Alonso/Truli have been making flying starts - my predition is he will stick it to Schuey.

Villeneuve will be on pace next week seems possible...but beat Schumi by the end of the season?? The odds are very slim. I am a MS fan, but it would be nice to see him get his ass worked abit sometimes We'll see, but I have a feeling that it will be Sato thats charging Schumi at Suzuka

anyway, the sauber contract says that he will never have the chance of beating the top three pilots during the race unless there is an extreme accident or so...

I see almost impossible that Jacques Villeneuve will beat Michael Schumacher thoroughout the rest of the year.....he will have some hard work to do in order to finish ahead of Barrichelo, Jenson Button or Kimi Raikkonen during this season...I dont see Villeneuve beating his teammate either....anyway.... see what happens......

::nearly dies laughing:: only one way i see that happening  Schumi gets taken out at by McLaren or JV himself. And that's doubtful since Michael is going to be PISSED as HELL about China. He is going to destroy any doubts that have been raised over the last two races. JV is clearly going to be stuck mid-field and is going to have to get by Coulthard, Sato (who is probably NOT going to give up position since BAR is going to be trying to nail down 2nd in the constructors) and JPM.

Button will be the one causing Schumi to check his mirrors if Barrichello doesn't wedge himself between the two, Kimi MAYBE. but after his string of 2nd places, i'll be watching JB, NOT JV.

I dont think he will do it.But i REALLY hope he does cuz after reading more of villineuves interviews and watching them i have come to the desicion that i really like this guy and hes CANADIAN I think he is now my favorite driver.

Ihope sauber will do better next season. The now have two capable for next year.and if they could just learn how two use there amazing equippment(ferrari engine, best wind tunnel in F1)it think they could get a podium. The only problem i can think that they might have is the chassis.because there engine is exellent there aero dynamics should be exllent and the only thing left it the chassis.

I really don't think anyone will beat Schu. anytime soon. Well it will be a fight to watch if it does happen.

well, they lost the Ferrari gearbox so that may present some early problems next year. I haven't seen many chassis issues from them this year. Considering their drivers, i don't think they have done too badly.

even if it's not, my abs got a workout this morning when i read it and laughed hysterically. Then all the guys in my shop did the same thing. To be honest though, the F1 forum has gotten a bit dry. Hopefully it'll come back to life with Suzuka this week.

Ah well, it got some fun debate happening. I am an F1 nut and have followed it since early 80's. I am just a big fan of JV and belive that he has the old school mentality. I thought Montoya would have had more of a go this year but next year will be his year.
