Sept 26 -Perth Ferrari/Lambo club meeting (+ Video!!)
This morning (very early to avoid people/traffic) there was a meeting for the members of the Ferrari Club of Perth, and I was lucky enough to be allowed to attend. All the cars met in a carpark in the city and had coffee/muffins then left for a drive down south for breakfast. I didn’t follow them on the trip since I wasn’t really invited for that part so I didn’t want to push it.
They didn’t stay in the carpark all that long, and some came just before they left so I had to rush my photo’s a little….but they are still good enough I hope.
I went there expecting only Ferrari’s, and mainly older ones, but on two occasions I heard an almighty roar from down the road and turned to see a Lamborghini driving towards me. They come to these meetings since there are not enough Lambo’s in WA to warrant starting their own club.
I also took a video (19Mb, nearly 4mins long) of all the cars leaving the carpark, none of them really floored it but the 355, 360 and the Lambos still sound great. I’m not sure of the best method of sharing it is, as I could upload it to the vault but then a lot of you miss out….let me know if you have any ideas. I’m not sure how to best make it better picture quality, currently its 705kbps (320x240) and it sounds good but the picture is a bit fuzzy…there are no options in Windows Movie Maker to record at higher resolution. Any advice?
Ok, enough waffling, here are the pics:
A 40th Anniversary Murcielago, one of only 7 in Australia according to the owner….but I read on the net only 50 were produced and only 1 made it to our shores:
Here is the star of the show arriving : :

A sexy yellow Diablo (Jabba will like I’m sure ):

Ferrari 360, not the best colour but still nice:

355 Berlinetta:

348tb:

Two GTS’s, a 308 and a 328:
And another 308 GTS:
308 GTB:
The club presidents 308:
308 GT/4:
Dino 246GT:
Another old timer (not sure about the model):
A Lotus Elise that turned up as everyone was leaving:
I hope you all enjoyed the pics.

Thanks for the compliments guys, still not sure which number (1 or 7) is right for the 40th ann. Lambo.
I only just found out about the event, through a friend of a guy who owns an old Ferrari....and got in contact with the president who gave me the details of when/where etc.

No sorry TT, I was trying to take pics as quick as possible that I didn't get multiple shots of alot of the cars.
BTW, Mr.T has kindly offered to host the video so that might be available in the near future.

Thanks a million for the group of pics....every car just look stunning despite not all ferrari are red, yellow or black(my three favourite colours to suit a ferrari). In fact, this is the first time that i see the 360 under this bizarre colour, the other cars such as the Diablo, Murcielago, Elise, just look awesome as well...you must have had continuously the smile in the face when you were alongside these cars

beaver, i read there were 50 made on carpoint.com.au....someone will have to confirm for us.
Thanks Ford Capri, yeah the smile didn't leave my face for long thats for sure.
thenumber1, it sure looks stunning....that colour is just perfect IMO. It sounds just as good as it looks, I have him idling in front of me on camera and its a brutal sound, just wish he floored it down the road.
