Default Mercedes SL55 AMG++great story!

last night was my best night of Car hunting yet! not for the car that i was photographing, but rather its owner (who doesnt want his full name to be mentioned, or photographed), Ken, turns out to be one of Michigans biggest collectors of exotic, and rare cars... mostly exotic. he is due to recieve two new cars quite soon as well; both a CGT, and a Ferrari 612 Scaglietti, while his Mercialago is currently in OH for its 1000 mile service. most of his cars are located quite locally in a wherehouse, and he has invited me to see his collection! OH MY GOD! I cant wait! no date yet, but i will update as soon as i know more x1000!

He was quite impressed by my ability to converse with him about the passion of automobiles, and encuraging me to keep with it (naturally) and the love/desire/passion never goes away. quite a great guy to speak with so casually; and to my suprise, he wasnt in such a hurry to be an ass as so many dickwads with mercedes are he was so down to earth, i was humbled... unlike so many wealthy persons in the area, he actually does his own shopping on his own, albiet, in one of his 'daily drivers'

the last pictures are of a 550 Marenello that i believe he was 'test driving' or something to that nature... perhaps in the trade up for the 612.

so am i and, im not familiar enough with ferrari's stock vs. aftermarket exhaust systems to know ops:
BTW, that yellow Maranello is... perfect!
best looking 550, IMO... it was a proper 6 speed H gate too also, the most expensive car ive ever seen parked at a supercenter 8)

Hi!

Sometimes those People are just great...

A guy I sometimes see at Parties, I wouldn't call him a friend as I don't see him that often also has a SL55... Great car... Before that he had a 355, then a 360 and then a 360 Spider, but he didn't want to be in the center of everything just because he has a Ferrari... He needed something more understatement - like that also goes like hell... The SL...

Just nice!

Keep on, great pics!
