Few Questions

A. Wireless router slow down
Wired pc is P4 1.6, 512 ddr, win xp home and gets 400kb/s dl
Wireless pc is P4 2.4 512 ddr, win xp pro and gets maybe 100kb/s dl
any ideas on how to fix this?

B. Overclocking
I want to over clock my cpu, its the P4 2.4 any easy suggestions that
wont screw up my comp?

Not sure how to solve your question about the wireless router as I'm not a wireless person.
What is this 2.4ghz comp you have? I mean like brand. If its like Dell or something, good luck trying to overclock that. If it's not, like a custom built PC, then you just simpily increase the fsb in the bios by 1 or 2 increments. I suggest you not overclock too far if you're on stock cooling.

thamar, i am prolly about 10 ft from it, although it is up a floor, im on cable by comcast, and since they upgraded to the 3m/bit line my dl ont he wired doubled
