Default DVD Burning Information Wanted...

So I Just bought a Lite On DVD-RW. Wanted to test out by burning a dvd but it seems to me that his dvd I want to copy is Copy Protected. Is there any way to still copy it and still get good quality. Cant seem to get anything to work.

Have you heard about DVD shrink?
It compress the movie so it fits on a 4.7gb disc.

yes, I've heard of it and already tried. Since the dvd was copy protected...I tried DVD Decrypter and copied it to my computer and then I used Clone DVD to burn it to the DVD. seemed to work well. I guess I will use this method for now on unless there is a lot easier way to do so out there.

yeah i used dvd decrypter, thats the best way of getting around the copy rights and region codes but once you have that copied on your hard drive how do you burn the dvd so it will play in a dvd player..do you just drag the copied files that dvd decrypter made over to the dvd and burn it..or do you have to do something else...i would like to be able to get the dvd menu to show up and everything..since i have a dual layer dvd burner..i could potentially do this so if anyone has suggestions that would be great!

thanks!

I used Clone DVD to burn it to the DVD disc. It worksy perfectly fine, yes I used DVD Decrypter to copy the dvd to my harddrive. Clone DVD will then take the file and encode the dvd once again, meaning it'll copy it another time to your harddrive but then it will be deleted after the DVD has been written. I will send you the program if you would like.

EDIT: here's the program incase anyone wants it. It's CloneDVD. I dont know how long this upload will last so get it fast if you want it.
