New A4/S4
Donno if anyone else is as excited as me, but here are the first official pics of the new facelifted A4. It is pretty much just facelifted w/ new engine options (like the 2.0t FSI 8) ), and same chasis. Its official the "B7" chasis and not the speculated "b6.5" but who cares. This is probably the car i will be getting come January when i get my liscense. I love the baby A8 look too cool! Besides engines and some minor interior changes, the car is said to weight quite a bit less.

and the bad arse S4! So far it's the same 4.2 engine w/ 344 bhp, and 421 nm torque but its still really cool. Only cosmetic changes i could note where Recaros, Quad-Exhaust (not too shabby) and blacked out bumper grilles. Perhaps we will see Audi/VW's DSG make it's way to the B7 platform though!

Audis have looked very elegant lately, but they have come a bit too close to boring. I think the aggressive look of the new models is an improvement.
The S4 is powerful enough as it was. Remember that they have to leave some room above it for the next RS4!

I think Audi's are getting better looking - unlike BMWs! The grill will grow on you Brembo, remember when the Jag S-Type came out and JC (i think) said that it looked like a toilet seat? I agreed at the time but the S-type has since grown on me!!

I like the new grille ... particularly because it ties it to Audi's original roots in the Auto Union race cars. The overall impression is nice. The rear tail lamps are a bit Honda Civic to me. The interior looks the same ... but it was always the best ... so nothing is needed.
Call me biased but I still like the B5 look over the B6 version of the A4 ...

I like the new look of the A4(in fact its a trim rather than the a radical change)...although i prefer the current one, specially the back which its a bit less sorted,.....the engines of it seems interesting...specially the new 3.2 FSI(an improved version of the current 3.2 from Audi A3/TT/ Golf mkIV R32)....and the 2.0T FSI....anyway...the thing that sounds strange for me its that theyve got the tiptronic gearbox option for the authomatic or the semiauthomatic one instead of the best sorted for the moment DSG that they are being used for the Golf mkIV, the touran, the TT and the A3 as far as i know

I remember you complaining about the grill (or at least mentioning that you were negative) when discussing the A6 a while back. That growing phenomenon is weird, but practical. That way there are fewer ugly cars around.
Now that you mention it, I was also wondering what was wrong with that steering wheel. It doesn't look quite right. As for the tail lights I like them better on the sedan, than the avant. I guess they will grow on us as well.

very good looking...I think audi is doing a great job with it's lineup, I'm quite fond of the new aggressive grille, I think audi needed an edge because they were becoming quite boring...
