Austin Mini 1972 Mk2 1000, restoration job.

This is my cousin’s mini which is going through a full restoration job.
As u can see theres a lot of work to be done, but bit by bit it will get there.

This Model is a Austin Mini 1000 Mk2 from 1972 and when he bought it it was a complete piece of junk.
In fact it was on it’s way to recycling. He bought it for £50 I think, but has invested almost £4000 so far.
The bodywork was completely rebuilt (and not finished yet), the engine put into pieces and rebuilt with some new parts.
New carpets, refurbish seats, new headlamps, new roof, new floor, etc.

Would like to know what u guys think of it so far.
I would also like to ask TT if it could be in one of the Photoshop competitions.

seems a few ppl on JW are involved in mini-restorations
