MAZDA5 MID-SIZED MPV TO BE REVEALED AT PARIS MOTOR SHOW

Mazda Motor Corporation will reveal its all-new Mazda5 mid-sized MPV at next month’s Paris Motor Show. The world premiere of Mazda’s fifth new-generation global product will take place on Thursday 23 September.

Fulfilling the promise of the Mazda MX-Flexa concept - revealed at the Geneva Motor Show and shown to the UK for the first time at Birmingham Motor Show this year - the new Mazda5 will deliver flexible interior design coupled with car-like driving enjoyment into the mid-sized MPV (C-MAV) segment around the world.

Designed from the inside out, Mazda5 will provide mid-sized MPV comfort and a unique "6 + One" packaging concept that provides flexible space inside the cabin. Mazda5 will be available in the UK with seating for seven passengers or as a six-seater with additional storage capacity.

In line with Mazda’s Zoom-Zoom promise, Mazda5 will deliver a fresh exterior design with two, wide-opening sliding rear doors and driving dynamics that customers have come to appreciate from all Mazda new-generation vehicles – Mazda6, Mazda2, Mazda RX-8 and Mazda3. It will be available in the UK with a choice of two petrol engines and a common-rail turbo diesel engine.

Well, given the new Odessy and Sienna ..... it is nice to see a Japanese minivan that trying to go FATTER on every generation. The nicest feature that the Mazda 5 have is the roll down windows on the sliding doors IMO.
