Well I'm going to go see the first Ford GT to go to a dealership (my friend works at the dealership) and I get to take as much pictures and videos as I want so I think I;mg going to use a camera that I can get the film developed on digital. what is a very good high res disposible camera and cheap is about 50-70 US $$

I know its a repost from scale models but I wanted to ask more people.

Kent, Washington - Jon Shirley, a retired Microsoft executive and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Seattle Art Museum, took delivery of the first 2005 Ford GT to be sold to the public.

First Ford GT delivered to buyer

Shirley, earned the right to buy the Ford GT at last year's Christie's Auction in Pebble Beach, California. He outlasted other bidders for 2005 Ford GT chassis number 10, certified by Ford as the first 2005 Ford GT offered for sale to the public. (Ford has reserved the first nine cars for internal use). Proceeds from the auction, which netted U.S.$557,500.00, benefit the designated charities of the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance.

The car, delivered to Shirley at Bowen Scarff Ford in Kent, was produced with Shirley's choice of colour (Midnight Blue with white stripes) and options (McIntosh Radio, lightweight BBS Wheels, and grey painted brake calipers). Each Ford GT is powered by a hand-built aluminum 5.4-litre supercharged V-8 producing 550 horsepower and 500 lb.-ft. of torque. With a top speed of 205 miles per hour, it is the fastest production car ever to wear the Ford oval.

"I can't wait to get behind the wheel," said Shirley, who lives in Medina, Washington. "The GT has classic lines and great power, and it's reminiscent of the GT40s of the 1960's that were so successful. It's going to be a thrill to drive this car."

Public sale number two will take place next week in Los Angeles, when Jay Leno, host of NBC's "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," receives his 2005 Ford GT in Los Angeles. Coincidentally, it was Leno who drove the prototype Ford GT onto the ramp at the auction in Pebble Beach last August where Shirley was the winning bidder.

The Ford GT is inspired by the GT40 racing cars which won the 24 Hours of Le Mans four years in a row - 1966 through 1969.

also I think each dealership will only get like 1 or possibly 2 GT's and I doubt they will be at the same time.

here is the answer I posted in the other topic:

Ok you really meant "CHEAP".. well in that case there is NO disposable digital camera for that price... a disposable camera has to be a classical film one and you will have to scan the pics or to ask them on CD when you develop them (not sure about the size in that case)..

But I think with some 300 USD you can still buy a good digicamera wich will take better pics and will stay with you for some hundread / thousands of pics.. maybe it's better to save for a little while and go for it

well they had one at the taste of Chicago back in June/July and said by the end of this year as a 2005 so I would be looking for it around possibly the end of this month and maybe as late as October since usually the new model years are out by then, honestly your best bet is to go and ask the dealership and they will usually tell you when they will get them in. At the dealer we go to they will hold the car in the back before they put them out on display so you can check it out if they think you are interested in buying the car. Some dealers will get cars a month before others sometimes every dealership will get them at the same time like the new Mustang every dealership is supposed to get them at the same time like the original Mustang.
