No its not. The chassis of a car is designed for a particular amount of power. Overloading git gives you all kinds of problems (look at the CL65, or the morons who stuff V8's in Sevens). No, if you have a chassis designed for that kind of load, then were talking.

MB doesnt just do a half ass job. If the chassis wasnt designed to support that they wouldnt of done it.

6.3L V8 at front? What kind of handling character do you expect? When did MB get that idea from old school American big "V8 "striaght line" only sedan?

Well Audis 4.2Litre V8 in the S4 weights the same as the old 2.7 V6. The new C55 seems to handle well according to journalists so a 6.3 Litre engine sounds ok to me.

Great another car from Merc where you cant have the traction controll off until your in 3rd gear. Ill take a M any day over this. Watch the M3 still beat if because of its lightweight.
