That car sounds incredible. Much better than the "ordinary" M3. Does anyone know exactly what makes the difference in sound?

Most difference is made by the new air intake system, which gives a very loud induction roar produced by the individual throttle bodies.
I think the induction roar sounds much nicer than the sound from the exhaust, which is still a bit raspy.

Thanks for the video!

Amazing how this beast can be heard coming from miles away!

This engine note is alike a drug. Thanks to that A-symetrical front bumper which feeds in direct air to the intake system + whatever you guys mentioned. Sounds a million times better than a M3.

This car is wild. I've only managed to whitness one sitting quietly in a crowded car yard full of porsche's and ferrari's... it loooks sweet!

I love the sound of BMW 6 cylinders. I like the sound of the intake and exhaust too. Very cool car.
