Great video such a shame that it wasnt longer....I have no doubt that the Diablo was gaggin to pull away and would have left the sti for dust.

He was blocked in...at the first sniff of a straight he would have become a small dot in the distance.

Yes, but on roads like these driver ability and local knowledge could for a lot more than just horsepower.

A couple of times i've been on twisty mountain roads that i don't know and not managed to go much faster than say, a well driven gti - simply because the gti driver knows the road well and was keeping it nailed thru blind bends, whereas i was driving within the limits of what i could see (ie only go so fast that you can still stop within the distance you can actually see, which isn't very much on a hairpin'd mountain road).

First clear straight though.. bye bye.

Yes 110 % agree with all that. I always make sure I choose roads and routes that I know will suit me best for a bigger car...local road knowledge sure is a critical issue when driving beast's.

What was in front of the Diablo? It was slowing him down, he couldnt put out the full capability of the car.

It looked like a Ferrari 550 or 575 or something.

That was fucking cool...I love how the sound of the Diablo completely drowned out the STi
