Default Would this be a good idea for F1?

A quote from this article:
http://www.pistonheads.com/news/defa...p?storyId=8756

Champ car racing is to become more interactive with the announcement of the new "Push to Pass" feature. It will allow drivers the ability to boost their power by 50 horsepower at critical moments during the street race.
Personally, I think it will make the racing more like a computer game and hence doesn't suit F1 but it might be cool. Hopefully it will result in some pretty exciting racing and some vastly different tactics.

f1 did have boost buttons when the had turbos, and have them a little boost in the straight to help with the over taking, but it was very hard on the engine

Modern f1 cars, i think (they are hiding it or not talking about it) have a button that will allow the engine to rev past the red line, the new engines don't rev as high as they did b4 because of the 1 engine per weekend rule, but they might have a button on the new cars that will for a second allow the cars to rev higher. (200revs = 4bhp i think)

cool for champ cars, but lets keep f1 sane, as its the more sacred of racing formulas, frankly its fine the way it is as some teams are catching up to ferrari, or so i hope

Now ya talking!! Maybe variable aerodynamics like the angle would be steep for cornering and then it could level itself as the car increases speed in the straights. That'd be rad

Champ cars... ahhh... It really sucks. It'd be interesting if the integrated the series with F1... (champ/ F1) that might be cool... During the off season. That is if Champ got some better drivers... like me... and you.
