The 50th Anniversary edition was only in Anniv. Red Metallic code: WA-820K / GM-94 and had the Champagne colored wheels code: WA-837K (Light Warm Nickel Metallic-Dupont name) and Shale (tan) interior, etc...
do you have interior shots? that would help...
those are the official colors of the official Anniversary car
check this site it is the complete registry of each car: http://www.50thregistry.com/
Still it is a nice car and I would love to have one.
Also does he have the Magnetic shocks?

I'm not trying to diss your dads car or call you a lier but I have never seen the official 50th edition in any color other than the red/maroon.

sorta, but not entirely

all corvettes produced for that year bear the aniversary badging... just not the "limted" paint scheme.
ford did the exact same thing with the 40th aniversary mustang, where all cars are badged 40th, and really are... but only 5000 or so have the 40th limited paint/interior scheme.

I'm not sure what T-Bird is talking about, I think he means the official version had the met red color and the light oak interior
That's an official 50th edition, They were made in all colors, I have seen them in Le mans Blue ,Black, Pewter, and Red non met.

Mag shocks is stock

I'm talking about the "Official" 50th anniversary edition Corvette the one I wrote about, the one in the registry the actual limited edition 50th anniversary edition Corvette not just one from the same year like Cornutu is talking about.

And the Magnetic Selective Ride Control is NOT standard it is like a $2000 option except on the official Anniversary edition it was part of the package.

i dont know, usually i have no probs in identifying a vette, but this one is a hard top as far as i can see, and the 50's where coupes or z06s and this one is a hard top with coupe wheels

correct me if i'm wrong, i think i do :x

When my father bought it, they gave him a video wich said 50 years of Corvette, the video is about all the changes that my dads corvette had, they said it had a new suspension, and the ability to change diiferent types of suspensions with some buttons, well the badges are there, I know the official color is some type of moroon with champagne wheels, but my father has the 50th anniversary Logos, and the new type of suspension, dont rememnber if it had a little bit more horsepower....

which roof does he have?
I would guess that all the 50th versions were sold in the US since on the registry all the VIN's start with a 1=US this could be the normal Corvette for that year which had the badges with the 50 on them.
does the car have the 50th mats too?
like Corvette97 said the defining factor is the roof they had the coupe with optional removable section and the convertible not the hardtop like the Z06 has.
here are the specs of the Anniversary edition Corvette: http://www.50thregistry.com/2003_corvette_specs.pdf
I'm just wondering that's all.

It's not a Z06 he said it has the coupe with the removable top so that eliminates the Z06 possibility and the side emblem is the Corvette Flags not the Z06 symbol.

the back pic looks like a hard top, the "normal" hard tops where last made in 99 i think or 2000, then the z06 got the hard top and no "normal" hard tops anymore. and like i said i see coupe wheels, strange
