Default Mini 1000 [Update]

Hey!
I saw "68-998" pics of his Mini, and got inspired to upload some of my Mini....

Mini Saloon 1000, 1980
1275' engine, overbored to 1293'
Ported cylinder head with Cooper S valves
MiniSpares inlet and HIF44 carb
~80 bhp (haven't been on rollers yet, engine only driven 2000 km)
8,4" discs and 4½x12" Minilite wheels
200 km/h speedo

and the pics

and the custom shot

I have made a gallery with a dusin of pics of my mini while restoring it. There's also a couple of pics of my brothers cars... (Porsche 911 & BMW 345I). Check it out at:

Looks much nicer than mine. Especially the engine bay!

Have you taken it out to a track or motorkhana/autocross or anything yet?

Well, I've got inspired... and... here it is mine!!

It's a Mini Cooper 1300, with Special exaust and air filter, small engine tweaks, kevlar brake pads, quickshift, BEcker radio with CD, Sparco bucket seats, wood dashboard.. etc etc

It as 12x6 deep dish rims and Gr5 Wheel arches.

And it is a FUN to drive!!

Unfortunately... Its not mine anymore... sold it few months ago and looking forward into a Cooper Mk1, of 1960's

And, JABBA, as you can see, we could have a classics section overhere!!

Since you don't own a Mini anymore, the official number is still four.
