Default Races of tonite...1st run of the season!!!

Anyways, me and a couple buddes of mine got together and did our first runs of the season...the nite goes like this:

Race 1
CLK430(custom ECU, custom exhaust) vs. ML55(bonestock!!!)

anyways, we ran twice, and both runs he just guns me...my take off was amazin but he just took off after my 2nd gear...he had like 1-1.5 CL on me for both races...

Race 2
ML55 vs 2004 TL (both bonestock)

we only ran once, but i just ripped him right from the start...it was amazin...

Race 3
CLK430(custom ECU, custom exhaust) vs. 350z(sports package)

These two ran twice and at the start off both were dead even, but after 2nd gear the CLK just ripped it...

Race 4
ML55 vs. 350z

Ran only once, i had a really good launch, and after 2nd gear, i had at least 1 CL on him...

Race 5
SLK320 vs. 250z

These two ran once and was gonna run another, but the 320 chickened out...the race was pretty even, till halfway on the run the 320 just slowly lost it and by 3rd gear the 350 just ripped it and had like 1 CL on him...

Tonite was a fun nite!!!

I also wonder how well you would do with timing lights and a controlled start.

He's talking about drag racing legally instead of the idiocy you're practicing on the street.

I dont think dragracing is that dangerous on public roads as long as your smart about it. Find a deserted road with a 55+ mph speed limit and shut it down at 75...

the point is that it is illegal and at a track there is a 100% garauntee that you won't have some one or something come out in front of you while you are hauling ass down the road and God forbid something does happen at the strip there is ALWAYS an Ambulance and Firetruck on duty.

I am not even talking about the safety aspect - I am saying that many times the "street champions" fall flat and are shown up to be cheaters and early launchers when they try race at a track with timing lights.

(I knew that RC45...I was just trying to make a point hehe...the street braggers are rarely as fast as they claim.)
