Best GP yet this year?
Look at the starting grid, 1,2 Ferrari (Barichello 1), 3,4 BAR, 5,6 BMW.But the most interesting fact is that in the odd lane the order is Barichello, Sato, Montoya, Raikkonen, then Alonso. It is going to be a great start to the race, but remember Schumacher may just be giving Barichello the pole and then he will do only 2 pit stops and then win the race.
But Sato, outqulaified Button, this guy is for real and the more comfortable he gets he is going to be great, remember he has no fear of anyone at all, unless Raikkonen gets his car back, and of course Shuntmacher Ralf. Here's hoping that it is going to be a fantastic race and that Micheal doesn't win, they need Rubens to win just not in the fashion that happened a few years ago that's all, a straight out and out win would be very nice to see and watch.

Cool!... rubeno finally ahead - thats different
It'll be great to see a strong battle for the league between the top teams. Any team dominating F1 without a struggle just isn't fun - that includes ferrari (looks like its going to happen again - rubens 2 tenths faster than shuey, which is 2 tenths faster than sato!).
Those BAR's are in great condition, especially Sato. Can't say the same for the Renaults - they're nowhere to be seen!
I'd expect the Mclarens to do well from Silverstone onwards - when they're new chassis debut's. It only hurts to see them lingering with the toyota's
It hink by far, the best race of the year thus far is Monaco, hands down

Having seen the qualifying online, MS was on pole from 10th out and he made a mistake on turn9, only Rubens was able to better it(thou his 1st sector was slower).
Hopefully Rubens will keep the lead at the start, so we can see a Rubens/Michael battle.

well, i dont think shumi was giving rubens the pole... after all, rubens now has the new lap record
Hopefully Rubens will keep the lead at the start, so we can see a Rubens/Michael battle.

that is exactly what happend, at least until the last 10 laps or so... kinda reminds me of senna/prost battles...

I was very impressed at Rubens. He deffinately seems to be coming out of shell again. Maybe he is just getting tired of being in the shadow. I deffinately think that they are giving him his own strategy now. In the past his strategy always seemd to be set up to support MS. I don't think he was really setup to be as fast as he could.

I think the fact that MS is so far ahead in the points for winning the championship and the next closest person is a Ferrari driver that Ferrari is letting it all hang out. MS most prob (assumption) wont come back next year even if he is able to get Aryton Senna's pole position record but by now I dont think he really cares. Chalk another one up for Ferrari and MS.

This is the worst GP in modern f1 history. See my comments in the US GP thread.
