I liked it, but clarkson was such an asshole to the biker.

I don't trust the outcome of that race, especially since Clarkson was so obviuosly biased against the bike.

Thanks for the vid. Verryyyy interesting...

Always wanted to see the difference in performance between 2 and 4 wheel machines. Mmm.. it would have been so tempting for me to nudge the biker

Never ever thought a bike like that could lose of a Porsche. Lucky for me, I like cars more than bikes :fadein:

As with all Clarkson videos, they are there for entertainment rather than serious motoring journalism. The article in Evo a few months ago with the cars vs bikes was more of an eye-opener.

if u dont believe that then, go to formula1.com and find out how fast they take to do a lap, and check the motogp with the highest CC bikes their lap times, and ull find out that cars are faster than bikes on bends...

i ve also raced a few bikes not the r1 but a lower one, but i aslo didnt have anythinhg as fast as that 911

That was bullshit, why do a comparo on a track like that with long flowing bends where the bike can't give it throttle....

Have a look at this comparo, much better and a little bit more current, inc quarter mile runs

Everbody knows Clarckson dosnt like bikes so its no surprise to see him making fun out of them, but biasness besides he does have a good point about grip in corners, it didnt surprise me to see the bike tare away of the line but when keeping good mid corner speed cars should it.
All that aside WHERE CAN THE FULL VIDEO BE DOWNLOADED

Yes, but the difference between a road bike and a race bike isn't as great as the difference between an F1 car and a 911.
