This car pushes out 1033 real hp and 1090Nm. In the vid its running street tires, the next day it ran R-tires but found no more grip. Still sideways in fourth when boost arrived

However the input shaft on the seriously strong M5 box snapped..

Haha that is a LOT of boost going to rear wheels! Other than the novelty of having over 1000hp, does anyone else think its a bit pointless building a car that is that powerful (other than for drag runs) as you can't really use all the power?

Obviously I agree.
That is totally useless. Impressive, but useless.

Thanks for sharing.

Hehe, you should see his grin

Yes its useless as a daily driver, but as a demonstrator for a guy who builds wild engines for a living, its obviously just the ticket. And theoretically it will do a low 10 at the 1/4

That's darn impressive power. Clearly a problem with traction, but 10 points for "show". He didn't seem like much of a racer either, the line coming off the back turn was more to set up a run for smoke down the front straight.

The thing that disappointed me was that he couldn't pass that other car because of the lack of traction. It would have been nice to come off that turn, put the power down and slingshot the thing...

Great video nonetheless...

Damn, the vid cuts out after about 15 seconds. And I really wanted to watch a modded M5. I dont have many modded M5 vids.
