Yet another top gear/5th gear quiz
To celebrate "top gear quiz god" zippo's birthday, here's another top gear/5th gear quiz:
Part I - usual rule: who said it and which feature
1. "Tiff would be impressed by the power and the handling. And of course Quentin disappear off to the lavatory with a grin on his face..."
2. "75hp on skinny tires, it's still plenty enough to have a bit of fun."
3. "You definitely won't buy it because it's perfect."
4. "This is one of the few cars I've even driven that I have to give total respect to."
5. "... it reminds me of the porshce 962 ..."
Part II
6. What did Vicki drive on the "airport day" video?
7. How old was Vicki when she first drove the Lancia Delta Integrale? Where and How?
8. What was the term used by Quentin Wilson to describe the Lotus 340R?
9. What did Tiff break on the pre-production Porsche Boxster?
10. According to Jeremy, what is the best driving country in the world? (for 2003)
Bonus Questions
11. "Indeed it's so much fun, I'm going to go back to beginning of the program and do it all over again."
12. What is "the most beautiful car" Jeremy has even seen? (for 2003)
Good luck on the quiz, I'll have to get some sleep now. Will reveal the answers in the morning. Zippo will probably get all of them in no time

Got up a bit late, so I'm not first, but I beat Mendocino to is so
Here are the first set of answers, I hope I'll find the rest later, but it's gonna be hard (especially the first 5).
2. Tiff - Lotus Elan (combi review with the esprit V8 )
6. Ford Mondeo (first model)
7. she was 18 - Wales - she sneaked away with it
8. a beach buggy
9. the gearbox (the rubber fell off I believe)
10. Scotland (Evo & STi test)
11. BMW M5 (he says something similar at the end of the Tuscan review)
12. The new Aston Martin AMV8

Damn, have to stop looking. Going away for a couple of hours. I'll tell you what I think of the rest of the questions.
1. the rest of the sentence: if he ever hear the words E-Type and Jaguar.
-> I suspect this is from a JC video on the Jaguar E-type
3. JC I think
4. JC in one of his own video's (355?)
5. ... that I've raced at Le Mans (Tiff) but what car???

1. Both draak666 and zippo got half of it, keep trying
2. Zippo was close, think a little bit older
3. Yes, but which car? I think you'll be surprised. It's a pretty rare video. A hint: "Bill Gates has ordered one..."
4. Nope, I admit this one can be a bit hard. Hint: "This is one mad bad wild machine."
5. Yes, it's Tiff but a different car. He was referring to the sound of the car.
6. zippo got it! Not sure which model it is, I'm not too familiar with the mondeo except it's a lot better than the taurus we have here.
7. to 10. zippo got them all right.
11. All 3 of you got that one, will give the point to draak for giving both name and car.
12. Yes, it's the aston V8 vantage (aka AMV8)
So the score:
draak666: 1
1zippo1: 6
Come on guys, don't let the belgians take all the points! Hope the hints can help rest of you out for the remaining 5 questions

LOL, off course, I mean the Lotus Elite, not the Elan. Stupid of me, I really know wich video, just messed up the names.
Oh yeah, I know what JC said after: You won't buy it because it's perfect, "you'll buy it because it's epic fun". Now I'll just have to figure out what car :
Yihaaa Got another one.
5. Tiff - Noble M12

Ok, I give up, I can't figure the last 3 out. I remember the words, but I can't remeber in wich video they said it. Will check back in a few hours.
Shit off course, the Brabus SLK. the sentence was, if anyone mentiones the words: mercedes and benz (in stead of jaguar e-type).
But, wtf Mendocino is a Belgian, so good job

No, it's not the Elise... You're really close! A hint, it's a GT car.
#5, it was Tiff in Noble M12 GTO, he was refering to the sound of the turbos
mendocino got 1, 3, 4 and 8 right. Good job
latest score:
draak666: 1
1zippo1: 7
mendocino: 3
Only #2 left, someone from outside belgium figures that one out! The world team is losing

For those who're interested, some extra quotes for each video:
1. "... designed this car to be safe in the supermarket car park"
"There is 22km of stitching in those carpets..."
Jeremy / Brabus SLK
3. "You definitely won't buy it because it's perfect."
"Bill Gates has ordered one. The president of Pakistan is on the waiting list."
"Because the first turbo that rolled off the boat already has my name on it."
"... and because it's made in mexico where the line workers are paid in chickens"
Jeremy / New Beetle
4. "This is one mad bad wild machine."
"...and you don't need bigger biceps to turn the surprisingly light steering, even when parking."
Vicki / Lambo Diablo VT
5. "He hates understeer, but that doesn't mean to say that this chassic is one that instantly goes sideways."
"There's even half a dozen made to measure bags for your luggage."
Tiff / Noble M12 GTO
11. "Even when I demand the impossible, the 360 spin is easily controlled."
Tiff / BMW M5

They got the Jeremy part right
It was in the middle of the night, guess my head wasn't clear enough... should be more clear on that.
Try to guess what #2 is, it's a Lotus and has *only* 72hp. Okay, one more hint, it was a GT car launched in 1957.
