well, since i dont own a ps2....... and i own PGR2
i cant really compare them, however, at least PGR2 has some damage body work...
to bad no damaged mechanics like other games..... nascar, and rally games seem to do damage the best

I had to vote for gran turismo..even though the tracks and cars are better on project gotham, soley because of "the ring"...but gran turismo has rallying, and the physics and the tuning and just the whole game itself is much better..project gotham seems like a game for someone who just wants to drive fast cars...gran turismo is for the true car enthusiast..

I have to vote for GT - as Micro$haft has yet to pull their heads out of their asses and fix the NUMBER ONE flaw with the XBox... no USB support for the decent Force Feedback steering wheels.... not even their own...
So - the XBox could have the best games but without the best controllers - it is really just a green toy..
(for this reason I enjoy GT1 and 2, but only for "play value" - as I just don't enjoy "game pad" driving, as much as steering wheel driving.)

GT, way better physics and customization.
gotta love the "drifto" button in PGR though. just like in real life!
i also played rallisport challenge a few days ago. it looks and handles like complete shite compared to GT.

Better? Which i prefer, Gotham. prefer the arcade like driving style. I don't like tunning cars up, i want em' stock. Plus, i love driving Enzo's, Zonda, Carrera GT's and Koenigsegg's around.
