If you know where the car is, call the police and explain it to them. VIN numbers are stamped all over the cars, there might be a chance one of them hasn't been changed.

Is it and him still in the UK ?

is he now registered keeper, and do you have the uk numberplate of the car, if so i can get its wherabouts.

Im sure i can think of a way to either get it back or damage it to a point where its unfixable, ie fire.

its up to you man. all id need is full written permission off you as owner to cover myself legally if things went wrong....
