They're all great cars but my favourite is the 599 GTB with no doubt. None of the others would be in my dream garage 8)

The question asked which was the best supercar, so I had to pick the LP640. If I could afford one of them and had to live with it everyday I would go with the 911 Turbo

LP640 for myself.
Amazing exterior, sizzling V12.

Though i adore the 911 Turbo a lot, i would also take the Ferrari. It just seems to be the best and most complete supercar of the three.

599 in one of the darker reds - Rubino or Fiorano with 6 sp manual transmission.
I dont want AWD - hence this eliminates the Turbo and Lambo. The Lambo seems excessively flashy to me. It is true to its heritage but it isnt kosher to me .Murcie's sound real good though - gotta admit it. Deep roar
I am not a huge fan of the 599 based on the pictures I have seen. I am going to hold my opinion till I see it in the flesh. I appreciate the fact that they have lightened the car from its predecessor. Love the sound of the V12. This is my pick of the three
I think I am more a fan of the lighter and more agile sports cars from these makes - CS, GT3- than the heavier GTs.

say whaaaaaa? the 911 has nothing to do with the creating supercars as a genre of automobiles.
i'd pick the LP640, as the Ferrari is a bit....unimaginative, and the 911 is a brilliant car---but doesn't evoke the imagination quite like the LP.
|
What he means is the 911 is for poor people and only the most expensive things can be considered "Super".
The facts that the 911T is right up there with the Horse and Bull seems to be completely discounted.
|
Couldn't agree more. The mere fact that a 997TT is mentioned in this article, and it's compared with the BEST Ferrari and the BEST Lamborghini is enough to deserve some more respect seems that a supercar can only be borned in Italy or be mid-engined or V10 or have over 600hp
|
thanks for expanding on what i meant

Just looking through pictures, I already think the 599 is exceptionally gorgeous! I haven't seen it in the flesh but if I do, I may just be overwhelmed and completely pass out Looks supreme in rossa monza (the dark metalllic red one I think) and 20in Challenge rims

Maybe because it's an overweight posemobile
Why do you think it's the only one that can be called a supecar?

Looks: LP640 the winner
Hardcore performance and track ability: 911 Turbo
Best of both worlds: the GTB.
