911 Turbo vs LP640 vs 599 GTB

The latest issue of this magazine features a comparison test between the Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano, Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 and Porsche 911 Turbo (out of its league) I don't understand the language it's in, but can anyone report on it anyway? Pics below:

i would go for the Ferrari or the Porsche if i had to buy. but why do you think that the 911 is out of its league? it basically created supercars.

I'll vote for the Ferrari

It's obvious what car i'd take from the three :D

only because the 911 would compete on a more level ground with the F430 and Gallardo...

If I had the money I think I would take the LP640, it's the only one which always have the "Supercar" badge on it. But for everyday driving, the 997 Turbo would be my choice.

ALL please!!

i'd definitely take the lambo. it looks crazy, its got insane power. if you wanna be flamboyant and have the power and handling to back it up, thats the car

the best SUPERcar has to be the LP..
best buy is the 997.. best overall is the 599..

So tough between the Ferrari and the Lambo, but I'd have to go Ferrari with this one.

Would take the Ferrari anyday, can be used daily but opt for a porsche if i was under a budget. The lamboghini is beautiful too but not me!

say whaaaaaa? the 911 has nothing to do with the creating supercars as a genre of automobiles.

i'd pick the LP640, as the Ferrari is a bit....unimaginative, and the 911 is a brilliant car---but doesn't evoke the imagination quite like the LP.

What he means is the 911 is for poor people and only the most expensive things can be considered "Super".

The facts that the 911T is right up there with the Horse and Bull seems to be completely discounted.

I think the best one is the Ferrari and it`s the fastest (in acceleration), but my favorite is the Lamborghini, it just looks amazing and has the word supercar written all over it.

TopGearNL 01-29-2007 01:55 PM

Best overall is the Ferrari I think. The Porsche is great but not as special I think..

The Lambo is insane, the looks are great and a very fast car.

But the Ferrari just has that magic you know, especially the 599 which is like an enzo in a grand tourers jacket ..

Stoopie 01-29-2007 02:00 PM

Best car: the Porsche
Best supercar: the Lambo :D

The Lamborghini just looks way better than the others, and ofcourse there's the amazing power!

silentm 01-29-2007 02:29 PM

i'd definately pick the porsche anyday, imo it beats the other cars in looks by a mile and it's also more practical than the prancing horse and the raging bull ;)

for me it's not so important if it's insanely fast in a straight line, cornering is more fun :)
