if you're willing to ship it to AZ you could probably get 5 from a mexican. They seemingly are magnetically drawn to those cars :bah:

It can easily be done if you don't spend money on little "show" mods like interior crap. For $25k you'de actually be able to have a turbo on the LS1 you just dropped in and easily have 500-600 whp. This is all said if you do your own work, i've only heard of a couple people who had someone build the car for them and lost stupid amounts of money to that. Either way good luck with whatever you do, just make sure to have fun doing it.
