but this picture is JUST resized and that's it, isn't it? it would be nice at least edit the colors, levels and some sharpening... then the picture will be awsome

btw do you use polarizing filter? it's a must have for a car enthusiast :good:

Hi there,

I spent quite a bit of time editing the image before I first uploaded it.
I have below included a link to the original photo I took. As you will see I have enhanced the photo's colours and brightness along with the removal of various items that interfered with the overall picture. These included a stray 4x4 at the back and the building over the hedge. I even went as far as removing the white lines off the road.

I have also included a link to a new revised picture that I have sharpened and played around with the colours. Let me know what you think ?

Is the revised one better than the one previously posted ? and what suggestions if any do you guys have about ways I can improve the photo ?

I do not use a polarizing filter but will probably get one later this week as I have a photoshoot with a new Porsche Carrera GT planned for mid July and what to get the best photos possible.

The pictures is clearly much better when you run it through Photoshop! But I'm okay with that house and the lines in the road, I don't bother, but the pictures became much cleaner. Just a matter of taste...

One of the most annyoing things I've discovered shooting at daylight is the strong light, a polarizing filter is the photographers best friend!
I shot with a regular digi-cam Ixus 400 and my picture always get too bright when the car shines too much...

But hey, I'm just a noob when I comes to stuff like that, we got TT, dingo and alot of the others pro here!

First of all, welcome! It's good we have another photographer on board who attends a lot of car events.

The revised Enzo pic is idd better than the original one. Finetuning the edited end result also involves a lot of personal taste. You can't please everyone. But I think we all like the fact the revised pic is more brighter and has more contrast.

You won't regret the purchase of a polarizing filter. I'm already looking forward to the pics of the CGT

I love Murcielago's and Green is my favourite colour.

This photograph has been enhanced from the original in a similar way to the Enzo photo posted earlier.

the only thing you need now is the Polarizing Filter!

but PLEASE, don't buy any cheap one!!! I did and now I have one spare cheap and not well working at home and bought another one for the twice bigger price and really worthy

my advice > B&W Circullar polarizing filter F-PRO, or HOYA of simillar quality. it's really worth to invest into this piece of glas, just look around in this W.Y.S.T. section (TT, Dingo, Dani_d_mas > now 30cm_Penis , me and some other guys, like nthfinity)

Thanks for posting a couple of high-res pics and nice to know you can edit your pics now, the aim wasn't really understanding if you were up to the task, but obtaining all those pics in high-res and good quality, that's it

On a serious note, IMO as far as you improve framing, colors, contrast, sharpness and so on, it's ok and basically a must: removing the building behind the trees or the white lines is pointless imo (especially the white line) and just too much when you come home from a meeting or hunting day with 100, 200 or 300 pics :bah:
