This M-5 customer called me a couple hours after rolling this brand new 2006 M-5 4 times.
The deputy who responded to the accident asked where the body of the driver was at. The deputy become aggitated when the driver who was standing there with not a scratch on him responded that he was the driver.
The deputy thought he was playing with him. The deputy's aggrevation grew when another man who was standing there vouched for him as being the driver of the M-5. The deputy then asked the man who he was and did he see the accident. The man advised the deputy that he was the passenger of the M-5. Neither of the men had a scratch on them. Our client is bragging to everyone he meets as to the engineering abilities that his BMW has that kept them safe.

I'm sure in less than 24 months this will be back on the road in the hands of an owner that has no clue that it had ever been wrecked- other than all the strange electrical anomalies and the fact the drivers door never seems to line up to the frame when he closes it.
A roll over produces too much damage. Yes, one could repair it, but lets not forget that individual pieces for a car cost 4 times more then when found on the vehicle.
Seeing as all sides are trashed, the axle and other important portions for wheels as well, and most likely structural damage all around, it would not make financial sense to repair something like this.

I can honestly vouch for the safety of a top end BMW. I young family friend of ours got into a crash in his parents 745i this summer. He passed a car on a backroad going in access of 200km hit a good bump in the road which put him onto the shoulder a little bit which made him loose control of the car (the shoulder is soft of course, (gravel) in the country) He became airborne, striking a telephone pole roughly 8 feet in the air, then continued to flip end over end 7 times. I saw pictures of the car in the salvage yard, and I can attest that it was 3 to 4 times as rough as this M5 looks. The front end was nearly crumpled entirely, as well as the back end. He walked away with a minor concussion and bumps and bruises.
I would like to see the report of the accident "I was driving along about 55 mph, when car suddenly rolled over 4 times. I don't understand what happend, I wasn's speeding or anything" Combination of extreme luck and a good car kept the guys alive.
Haha, yeah. Or the classic "The accelerator got stuck!!!"
I am sure we can sort that out
