SUPER CAR UP FOR GRABS IN NEW TOP TRUMPS PROMOTION AT SHELL SERVICE STATIONS
A Ferrari, a Porsche or a TVR?
It’s a tough choice but one that will have to be made at the forthcoming The Sunday Times Motor Show Live by the winner of Shell UK Limited’s Top Trumps promotion that hits close to 1,000 forecourts nationwide from 26 February.
The winner, who will select the £100,000 Super Car at the show, has to collect a full set of
24 Top Trump cards that will be given away by Shell with any purchase of Optimax fuel (no purchase necessary – see leaflets instore for details). The structure of the promotion is such that there’s bound to be at least one winner, and possibly as many as three!
The promotion runs until 21 April, giving customers plenty of time to build up their collection of the 24 different cars, all of which will be on display at the show.
The packs will also include 100,000 invitations to the Motropolis Live Action Arena at the show, worth £7.50 each (entrance ticket to show still required).
John Rasmussen, Shell UK & Ireland retail director, said: ‘Top Trumps was one of the great games of the 70s and 80s, and our customers will love collecting and playing with the cards. The promotion that ran in the build up to the 2002 Motor Show was a huge success, with the winner driving off in a Lexus LS 430.’
The Sunday Times Motor Show Live takes place at the Birmingham NEC from 27 May to
6 June. For more information and to book tickets now, visit
