They're made and developed by Jaguar which is owned by TATA which is an Indian company, thanks to their release from Ford they seem to be under a new lease of life rather than being constrained by debt-friendly Ford. Land Rover included.

So the bottomline is then that there hasn't been a meaningful BRITISH sedan since Leyland collapsed... thanks for clearing that up.
