A claim of 210mph really should be backed up by GPS, I didnt see any GPS validation.

I guess the money was spent on the f1 rather than a proper camera

True...the least that they could've done is show the speedo. When they did roadtests in the early-mid 90's, Autocar magazine used to record actual vs. registered speed in the cars that they were testing. If memory serves, the Mclaren F1 was one of maybe 2 cars that actually displayed its speed accurately. Of course, there was probably some minor variation on a car-by-car basis, but it'd probably be pretty close either way.
