Someone needs to inform that moron that CO2 is not "the great enemy" it was thought to be last month.

The Tesla is shite ... period.

So CO2 is bad. And he is a test driver? He must test and drive electric vehicles ONLY, right?
By the way, electricity is produced by CO2-generating means all over the world. Does he know what coal is used for?

However, it appears to be a remarkable achievement regarding Tesla technology. But it is not comparable to the Boxster. NO WAY!

All this, and Lotus is set to unveil their "400 hp" hybrid Elise (or evora?) concept @ Geneva... I just don't see Tesla as anything but a whooping big fail. There really isn't anything innovative which they have done. That, and apparently their cars are horribly unreliable too.

I just came back from a seminar featuring the head of the AC Propulsion system that licensed the technology to Tesla. Mind, that's "licensed" not "supply". The Tesla is inevitable in the whole paradox that is the electric vehicle technology. I now have a lot of sympathy for electric car developers, but not for Tesla, who's made it fashionable, and won't even admit that they haven't done jack in development. Drivetrain design = AC Propulsion, everything else = Lotus and some others. Tesla = all marketing. Seriously, a Tesla spokesperson got offended when I pretty much said it as it is.

Oh, and the most amazing and refreshing thing about the whole thing was that never did the speakers, heads of leading electric drivetrain developers, mention CO2 emissions.
