With a few tweaks it could be very good road legal competion for time attack or hill climb events etc.

Tweaks, what tweaks does it need ?....
Dude this a British car not JDM, sure it's a Toyota engine and gearbox but it's not even close to JDM

But I built the system [body/engine/gearbox] in Ca. Then it may as well be domestic US...
No one will ever look for a Lotus in the JDM section....

Take a closer look at the engine pic and video....It is compound charged, supercharged and turbo.... MP62 SC and GT3076R turbo total 30 psi. with air/water chargecooler...

That's an awful lot of boost in there! Are you running C16; i'd say definitely not CA 91 octane!
Nothing like blue printed, polished, balanced engine... cams, etc. etc. ?
