Default Supercar Comparison at the Ring

Why has it taken so long for someone to finally do this? Check out the intro and the clip of the enzo run. They got it doing a 7:25... on street tires & OE specs.

Part of the reason for the additional speed is part of the NS has been resurfaced since the CGT went 7:28 with Walter Rohl back in 2004.

I looked through the evo article again tonight. It looks like there may be a bias here, in that Black Falcon is the same team who produced the 'official lap record' for the Zonda F Clubsport earlier this year.

Skip the next part, if you don't want to know the outcome. If you do, this is what they claim the best times for each car were:

1 Maserati MC12 7:24.29
2 Pagani Zonda F Clubsport 7:24.65
3 Ferrari Enzo 7:25.21 (with failing e-dampers)
4 Porsche Carrera GT 7:28.71
5 Koenigsegg CCX (901 hp) 7:33.55

Lastly, here is another brief montage of this event:

They have now uploaded the in-car lap for the CCX:
