You are correct - electric vehicles are short sighted.
That bikes not very green, I am guessing he has no idea how poluting aliminium production is.
As far aspractical use, we live in a city that covers a similar area to Wales, electric vehicles have extremely limited application at this time. The cost/benefit of a 40 mile range vehicle in a large city is almost nil.
