Default The Contessa - a sexy car

The Contessa (the the official name yet) at the Waterford Race Track in Michigan, back on September 12, 2007 on Ferrari Track day.

It's a new car from California called the "Contessa". The owners son was driving it, dad put up the seed money and I guess it's always been his passion in life to build fast sexy cars.

It's powered by a Chevy 502 up front. I was told that this was it's first time out on a track. It only did a couple of laps, but my party missed the first 1-1/2 hours of track time and it may of gotten out there before us, I can't say for sure.

It's about time I posted these, Dutch at AutoWeek passed on them way back then.

Video (does it work?):

I do have a few pictures of it, as that was taken at the 2007 FOC track day at Waterford Hills... in fact, you can see my car in the video, and in the photos Along with a few other cars I've driven

I don't think I posted pictures of it. They had a little bit of trouble with something, so they only ran one or two laps that day. I'll see if I can find a few. RIght now, I'm working on posting something that I, and a few MW members did over the last w/e ....

Thanks for posting, George

Looks good, but is missing "something". I like the side profile, just enough C3 Corvette, and the rear prfile - just enough Cobra Coupe and a Little GTO... but the front is a little too much Testa Rossa - if the fornt had a TVR type treatment I think it would have that "something".

Nice looking car.

Ferrari GTO, Ferrari Daytona, Cobra Daytona, TVR, even a bit of Jaguar or Corvette in there.

Overall I say the car "comes together" quite well if not fresh or original.

In my opinion, the only thing that's even slightly sexy about that car is the name.

I'd have to disagree. It's not bad-looking, but it's a bit cosmetic surgery. Not really sexy in itself.
